Buster started his first band when he picked up Mare Pippi from Wildrye in 2022. In January 2023, he also picked up her dam, Little Gray, and her brother, Ryley. While with Buster, Little Gray gave birth to a filly named Luna. In September 2023, some mix-ups in the park caused Buster’s band to be taken by Stallion Guardian. In June 2024, Buster retrieved Little Gray, Pippi, Ryley, Pepper, and Luna from Guardian after he had left them to stay with Snip’s Gray. He would add to his band one more time that year when he picked up mares Starlet and Summer.
Most of 2025 was quiet for the band until the end of August, when Luna, the 2022 filly, was lost to West Nile Virus. A few days later, mare Summer gave birth to her first foal, a filly named Shelby. Mare Little Gray would leave the band as well when she was picked up by stallion Arey.
