In the winter of 2023-24, Applewood acquired his first mare, Birch, along with her filly, Aspen. Shortly after, he added another mare, Frosty, and her colt, Cody, to the band. Applewood allowed Cody to stay until the end of 2024, at which point he became a bachelor. Unfortunately, due to an injury received during the horse round-up, we also lost filly Aspen at the end of 2024.
In April of 2025, Applewood expanded his band once again by picking up Perdita, a 2017 mare, and her 2024 Filly, Chloe. Perdita is the daughter of Pretty Girl and the mother of Birch.
