Georgia’s Boy, a 2005 stallion, has maintained a band of mares for many years. However, throughout 2018, he gradually began to lose his mares. In December 2018, Cloud stole his last mare, Whiskey. As a result, Georgia’s Boy spent the winter and spring of 2019 as a bachelor. In July 2019, he successfully reclaimed Flicka, Shale, Whiskey, Boo, and Holly. In January 2021, mare Holly gave birth to a filly named Noelle. A couple of months later, in March, mare Shale gave birth to the band’s second foal of the year, a colt named Finnegan.
In September 2023, he added to his band once again, when he gained mare Busy Blue. Most of 2024 was quiet for the band until the end of the year, when Noelle was taken by Casper. Mare Bee joined the band for three months but was later taken back by Casper. Georgia’s Boy also lost mares Whiskey and Holly that winter, and they too ultimately ended up with Casper. However, 2025 turned out better for Georgia’s Boy, as he was able to add Mare Bee back to the band in the spring.
