Arrowhead and Jewel

Hello everyone! Here is a look at the handsome sire of the two foals, Dominque and Cadet, that I recently shared. If you missed those cuties, be sure to scroll back to see an updated look at them. Band Stallion Arrowhead is the 2010 foal out of Bella by Embers. The majority of Arrowhead’s band is made up of mares he picked up after their stallion Blaze unexpectantly passed away. However, this year he added to his band once again when he picked up the young filly Jewel and her older sister, Aqua. In June, Aqua suddenly passed away, leaving Jewel alone to find her place in Arrowhead’s band. One afternoon I found Arrowhead and his band running to a nearby waterhole. Everyone had gone by me except for Jewel and Arrowhead. I turned around to see Arrowhead stopped waiting for Jewel to catch up to him. It was nice to finally see Jewel alongside Arrowhead rather than off to the side by herself. She is doing well and will hopefully learn from the older mares in the band as she is still very young.
