Arey

Hello everyone. I want to take a moment today to discuss something that happened over the weekend concerning the stallion you see below, 2019 Bachelor Stallion, Arey. He was the stallion I referred to in my earlier post, who had been injured before the roundup. Over the weekend, some park visitors came across him in the park. They sent me photos of him, and I explained the situation.
Why do I bring this up? I am grateful to the followers who sent me photos of him because they did several things to help without even realizing it. They got eyes on him, so we knew he was there that day, and while he was not okay, he was moving. They also prevented anyone from having to hike out to Arey and put unnecessary pressure on him. Despite how often we are around them, each time we are in their presence, it puts pressure on them. I would prefer not to do that right now, as we do not want him to put more stress on that leg. The information provided was essential, and it only took a cell phone picture and a concerned visitor’s willingness to reach out to make all the difference. Several other visitors have seen him since then and reported it as well.
Below is a look at Arey from my most recent visit with him. We will closely monitor him and update you all when we can. If you see him, feel free to reach out with an update. Support from park visitors will always be appreciated. Thank you for the help!
