Shale’s New Band Stallion

Today, I would like to provide a brief update on Shale and her colt, Yates. Yesterday afternoon, we found them accompanied by the young stallion, Shooter/Creed. All seemed calm, but I wouldn’t consider him a band stallion just yet. Shooter lacks experience as a band stallion, so this arrangement may not last long. Shale’s 2021 colt, Finn/Tex, was in the area but did not attempt to reclaim his dam and younger brother, which is ultimately for the best. We will keep you updated on any changes, but for now, Shale is managing the situation, and both she and Yates are safe. Below are a few photos from our visit with them.
