Fun Friday Part 46
We’re kicking off the weekend with another “Fun Friday” post! Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to see many horses, but I haven’t had a chance to share them all here with you. Today’s post will feature a variety of some of those I have seen, as well as a look at a few of last year’s foals. 2025 Filly, Shelby out of Mare Summer – her presumed sire is Buster (Illinois)
2015 Band Stallion, Grady (Roosevelt), and his band along the Little Missouri River
2025 Colt, Flint out of Mare Little Mo – his presumed sire is Gunner (Sebastian)
2024 Filly, Chloe – she and her mother, Perdita, are in Applewood’s band with her older sister Birch and grandma Pretty Girl
2011 Stallion, Wildrye – the former band stallion can oftentimes be seen with his nephew, Titan (Pax)
2023 Mare, Harmony in the early morning light
2025 Colt, Legend out of Mare Patience (Hestia) – his presumed sire is Flax; however, they are currently in Buster’s band.
Mares Esprit, Belle, Beaver, Daisy, and little Thea of Trooper’s band on the move. Thea is growing fast, and Beaver has done an excellent job caring for her.
2021 Bachelor Stallion, Finn (Tex), is now one of our newest bachelors in the park since the passing of his sire, Georgia’s Boy
