Braving the Storm
Hello everyone! I know many of you have been waiting for this post. It has been a long couple of weeks with huge amounts of snow and rain, but I am happy to report that all of our 8 foals made it through the storms. They have some amazing mommas who performed nothing short of a miracle to keep these foals alive.
Below is a look at all the foals I saw this week. I did not see Kodiak, but two friends saw him and he is doing great. He was the hardest to find so I appreciate the help!
The Park is so full of water and mud right now that it can sometimes be hazardous to those out tracking. Everyone’s safety has to come first so that can and will occasionally slow down checking the horses. We have more rain on the way this weekend which will also slow that process. Not all of the horses have been seen yet, but no one has been missing from the bands that have been checked.
