Horse Spotlight – Mare Copper Penny

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I went out today to check on the new foal but was unable to locate the band. It was cold and foggy again and I could only hike around for so long before risking my own safety. The band has been out of sight for the last few days and hopefully that means they are tucked in somewhere keeping the little guy safe. I will continue trying to check on Punkin’s colt and let you all know how he is doing when I have news.

In the meantime, I would like to feature another horse from our herd. Today’s ?Horse Spotlight? is 2014 Mare, Copper Penny. She is out of Mare Angel by the amazing Copper. She was stolen from Thunder’s band late in the summer of 2015 by Stallion Brutus. She is still with him today. In 2018, she gave birth to a beautiful colt named Poseidon. He is her second foal to date. She is most recognizable by her unique blaze. Below are a few images I’ve taken of her over the last few years. She has changed a lot since 2015.
